I have a client who is entitled to ESA with support component and PIP with enhanced rate x2.
Client has 2 children (21+) who are at university and reside on campus during term time, but return home in vacations. Nobody else lives with them.
Client is currently receiving Enhanced Disability Premium but not SDP. Nobody claims Carer’s Allowance for looking after client.
Should client be getting SDP as well? I am leaning towards thinking she is.
I think it may come down to where the student children are counted as “normally living”.
Neither are due to graduate this summer.
