Claiming Disabled Worker Element

A client has been in receipt of PIP enhanced DL for some time and is working 16 hrs with a condition that puts her at a disadvantage in getting a job – is eligible for the the Disabled Worker element and Severe Disability element in her WTC. She is worried reporting this will trigger a change to UC- I have tried to reassure her but can find no definitive advice of this to reassure that a UC claim will NOT be triggered. Also could she request backdating to the date of her PIP award for this element if all conditions met?
